Look at that, a new comic!

I know. I’m excited, too. Now that The Unstoppable Force Giant-Sized Issue #1 is finally finished and available to purchase HERE, I was able to get this finished up.

Keep in mind, we’re also doing a live internet radio show, “We’re Not Fanboys,” every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 11am Central. You can listen live at RationalRadio.org, or you can watch the ustream here or on this site over here.

Okay, so I logged in to WordPress to create a new page for our internet radio show, We’re Not Fanboys, and saw that there was a bunch of stuff to update.
So I updated it. Now, nothing works.

Finally, I know.
This is probably the most pretentious comic I’ve ever done. Hopefully, there won’t be too many more like it. But I can’t make any promises.

In other news we got moved into the new place this weekend. Still have a bunch of little dumb stuff to get out of the old apartment, but we’re pretty much all done.
We also got cable. Now, this is the first time I’ve had actual real, honest-to-god cable in, like, 8 or 9 years.
It’s… strange. There are a lot of channels out there, man.
Sunday, Rachael and I got sucked into a marathon of 16 and Pregnant.
That show has to be one of the most infuriating things I’ve ever seen. Constantly, I was amazed at how frustrated and angry I got over how stupid 16 year old boys are. I’m talking baseball-bat-to-the-knees angry.
Those dicks better be glad I’m not the father of a pregnant 16 year old girl.

There would be hell to pay.

I’ll try and get the next comic up in a timely manner.
If I promise you some blood and violence, will you stick around?

Okay, finally got a new comic up.
Sorry for the delay.

Day one of my vacation two weeks ago, my cat knocked my external hard drive off the table. This is the hard drive with all of my comics and photoshop files on it.

As of right now, the only copies of my comics that I have are the flat jpegs that have been uploaded on the site.
Normally, that wouldn’t be such a big deal, but the quality of them isn’t so great. See, when you flatten and save a jpeg in photoshop, you chose the quality from 1 to 12. I like to keep the file size of each comic below 400k to make sure it doesn’t take forever for them to load on slower connections.

So most of the comics are saved at about a 9.

I also lost all of the work I had done coloring the pages for The Unstoppable Force.

There was all that, and then my allergies decided to explode last week.
Excuses done.

Next week you’ll get to see the comic that I’ve been thinking about for a long long time. This thing has been building in my head for some time now.
Hopefully, you guys will like it…

Things are starting to heat up for ol’ Harry and Larry.
I can’t decide if I want you guys to see their next comic right away or move on to the kids.
Hm. Decisions.

I guess I have a week to figure it out.

So. 24′s two night season premiere is over.
So far it’s been pretty good. Still not too sure about the whole “problem with a CTU employee” thing. Mostly, I’m wondering about this guy that tracked down Starbuck. I mean, she’s been able to hide her mysterious past from CTU, but this guy was able to find her, her house, and the CTU office with no problems? Seems like they should offer this guy a job, you know?
I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Okay! Yet another new comic. On time, too.
I think we’re gonna see one more Harry and Larry comic, then move on to another group.
Things are starting to get ready to almost be about to heat up, you guys.

In other news, 24 is back. Yeah. I have high hopes for this season. I know it’s hard to call a season of this show before the half-way mark (I’m lookin’ at you, Season 6), but I didn’t have too many problems so far. Other than the start of the whole “Starbuck has a mysterious past” thing will probably get on my nerves real fast. Mostly, because I think I’ve seen it before. Lookin’ at you, Season 5.

Other than that, I don’t care too much about TV right now. Until LOST comes back.
My phone will be turned off, so don’t bother.
